Pharmaceutics is the core activity of the pharmacy profession encompassing the principles of physics, chemistry, engineering and biology, analysis. The basis of the subject involves in preparation and evaluation of various dosage forms addressing the human ailments in addition to meeting the patient needs. It is an ever evolving domain constituting to improvise for a better version featuring the safety and efficacy of the product. Application of the pharmaceutical principles allows one to overcome the side effects and prepare and beneficial product.

The department consists of a highly qualified and dedicated faculty having expertise in the pharmaceutics department. Adding to the credit the department is well equipped with the sophisticated equipment to perform research works in novel drug delivery system, peptide drug delivery system, vaccine delivery system, nanotechnology, pulmonary drug delivery.

The Pharmaceutics department offers two year M Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) program and consists of the following subjects:

  • Modern Pharmaceutical Analytical Techniques, Drug Delivery System & Modern Pharmaceutics
  • Regulatory Affair, Pharmaceutics Practical & Seminar/Assignment
  • Molecular Pharmaceutics (Nano Tech and Targeted DDS) & Advanced Biopharmaceutics & Pharmacokinetics
  • Computer Aided Drug Delivery System, Cosmetic and Cosmeceuticals & Pharmaceutics Practical II
